Established in 2020, Glass Half Full was founded after I was awarded an Eli Lilly Teacher Creativity Grant. A full-time elementary teacher since 1991, my dream of entering the glass industry began to take shape as I immersed myself in fused glass techniques through classes and experimentation, thanks to the generous backing of the Lilly Foundation.
My journey into the realm of glass art started with my mother, who kindly joined me in a stained glass class. After receiving the Lilly grant, I explored the world of fused glass and have been mesmerized by it ever since. My goal is to inspire others with the same passion.
I have a deep desire to give back the amazing blessings I've been lucky to receive by allocating a portion of my sales to support causes. Here are two charities that are close to my heart and that I actively support:
